Obama's grandmother 86'ed on eve of election.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's grandmother died of cancer, he said in a statement on Monday, a little more than a week after Obama interrupted the White House race to say goodbye to her in Hawaii.

"It is with great sadness that we announce that our grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has died peacefully after a battle with cancer," Obama said in a joint statement with his sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng. "She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility."

Dunham helped raise Obama from the age of 10 while his mother was working in Indonesia, and Obama took an emotional 22-hour trip (COVERUP) to Hawaii to visit her on October 23 and 24.

Obama has often mentioned "Toot" - his version of the Hawaiian word "tutu," or grandparent - as an example of a strong woman succeeding through intelligence and determination. Many of his speeches describe her working on a bomber assembly line during World War II.

Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham (October 26, 1922 - November 3, 2008)

Both Madelyn and Stanley Dunham descend from European ancestors, mostly from England, who settled in the American colonies in the 17th and 18th centuries. Their most recent European ancestor was Stanley's great grandfather, Falmouth Kearney, a farmer who emigrated from Moneygall, County Offaly, Ireland during the Great Irish Famine and settled in Jefferson Township, Tipton County, Indiana. Kearney's youngest daughter, Mary Ann (Kearney) Dunham, was Stanley Dunham's paternal grandmother.[4] Stanley Dunham was a fourth cousin, twice removed, of President Harry S Truman. Stanley was also a seventh cousin, once removed, of Vice-President Dick Cheney and a seventh cousin, twice removed, of through a common ancestor, Mareen Duvall, a wealthy French Huguenot merchant who immigrated to Maryland in the 1650s.[5] Madelyn Dunham's mother was of part Cherokee descent, which Madelyn takes great pride in.
*This sucks, but my conspiratorial mind can't help but be slightly suspicious of the timing in this death. Keep in mind this was probably one of the very few people who know Obama's REAL FATHER.*

Boris Johnson has Coronavirus!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus and is self-isolating in Downing Street. He said he had experienced mild symptoms over the past 24 hours, including a temperature and cough, but would continue to lead the government. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he had also tested positive while England's Chief Medical Officer, Prof Chris Whitty, has shown symptoms. Another 181 people died with the virus in the past day,  figures showed. It takes the total number of UK deaths to 759, with 14,543 confirmed cases. The daily coronavirus news conference was led by Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove, alongside deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries and NHS chief executive Simon Stevens.
