The descriptions of the tranceformation of Denver's Invesco Field peppered the Republican blogosphere hours before Barack Obama was set to address a dancing, jubilant crowd of more than 70,000 supporters on the Democratic National Convention's final night.

Designed by Emmy Award-winning entertainment behemoths, the set has spectacular columns, concert lighting, JumboTrons and rising royal blue circular stairs -- an arena where warm-up acts such Will.i.am and Sheryl Crow looked right at home. Stevie Wonder led the crowd in a sing-a-long, "Bah-hah-rack-O-bama!"

The conservative online magazine The American Thinker remarked that the stage made use of the "basic stagecraft of visual illusion."



Ok, so I live in an area with lots of different bars and restaurants in a close proximity. I went out tonight, and every goddamn bar was playing Obama's speech. People were glued to the tube, like it was the messiah talking. Are you all serious? None of the general population can see through this bullshit? Wow, lower taxes, protect Israel, less energy dependence, fight terror without killing people, more health care, and better education! Who are you voting for? NOBODY, you mindless CHANGE ZOMBIES~!
WAKE THE FUCK UP.

i just found a movie named baraka,which means breath of life (atem/atom/atum)in sufism.this underlines the sunking symbolism in some illustrations.

Boris Johnson has Coronavirus!

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus and is self-isolating in Downing Street. He said he had experienced mild symptoms over the past 24 hours, including a temperature and cough, but would continue to lead the government. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he had also tested positive while England's Chief Medical Officer, Prof Chris Whitty, has shown symptoms. Another 181 people died with the virus in the past day,  figures showed. It takes the total number of UK deaths to 759, with 14,543 confirmed cases. The daily coronavirus news conference was led by Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove, alongside deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries and NHS chief executive Simon Stevens.
