2001, the Monolith, Moon, and Solar eclipse..
Jay Weidner wrote a great article about Stanley Kubrick and his possible involvement in the faked moon landing.
If you follow the arrow you can see where the set ended, and the rear projection screen began. You will see this phenomenon in every photo from apollo 11 that was not shot from above. Here is the original of first picture.

The "United States" certainly looks like a taped piece of paper to me! Again, you can see where the set ends and the rear projection begins. I am sure this looks fine on a 6' black and white TV, but it looks FAKE as hell in HIGH RESOLUTION.In the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey the appearance of the monolith is always preceded by a Solar or Lunar eclipse.
The monolith is also the tool that helps humans realize higher consciousness. We are seeing these themes playing out right now...

while the Blast-off - 24 years after the Trinity bomb
saw a docu about Kubrick and the fakery, based around him getting the special Zeiss lenses for his film 'Barry Lyndon', many scenes using just candlelight.
Rumsfeld et al were in it, seemingly confirming the fakery, though at the end there's clips of them all laughing, apparently making the idea the docu was a spoof.
I think the makers are French, though its allin English

It may be an unpopular opinion but I believe the moon landings were real. A CNN post on its website about the continual believers in a moon hoax, "reasonably" notes that this generation, younger than 40 or so, has a tendency to believe the hoax theory because this generation never saw any of the moon landings or any of the reporting on NASA and the moon in the late 60's. But then I suppose that could also mean this generation isn't as brain washed?
I don't know but I like the opinion of Christopher Knowles over at The Secret Sun (and it's the only plausible one I've ever seen)that the landings occurred but that some of the photos were faked.

I wanted you to check out photos of the Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie dressed from head to toe as an OWL! She's also wearing large octagon earrings.
The photo tags link her to Hooters (indicating that the writers at the site have no real clue) but the outfit she's wearing is nothing like a Hooters girl would wear. I was surprised how realistic the OWL outfit looks.

GERTY: same letters, left to right, starting at the "T": TYGER. It's a striped animal like a ZEBRA, the original name for P.K.Dick's VALIS, an intelligent satellite-computer orbiting the earth. Moons are called "satellites" of their respective planets, is our satellite (or Mar's satellite) inteligent or harbouring an intelligence?
